Four of Barnsley AC’s members made the journey on the 27th of December over to the Ribble Valley and the small town of Clitheroe for the Ribble Valley 10k. Which also incorporated the North of England 10k Road Championships. Attracting a super fast field boasting athletes of olympic standard throughout. With 5 men posting sub 30 for the 10k and the winning time coming home in 28.58 from Jonny Mellor and 6 women being sub 34 minutes with the olympic marathoner Jessica Piasecki winning in 31.37.
