The Ward Green 6 takes place around Christmas each year; based at the Lew Whitehead Community Centre in Ward Green.
It is a 2 lapped course, and is completely flat, honest… Well flat for Barnsley! Starting on the main road outside the community centre, runners make the dash towards Hound Hill, descending Hound Hill and then sticking to the flat on Haverlands Lane, before making the gruelling climb up Vernon Road only to turn left at the crossroads making their way back to the community centre. Then you have to do it all again!

For 2023 we are running the event with a twist, the twist is that its running in Summer… So the date is Sunday 23/07/23 at 09:00am,
