General Secretary

As General Secretary, Dave plans club meetings with the chairperson. He also takes minutes within the meetings and will circulate these amongst members of the club. He ensures insurance and policies are up to date, maintaining records and documents.

Malcolm Fletcher

Chairman

As the club’s chairman Malcolm, chairs all the committee meetings and steers Barnsley Athletic Clubs vision, short term and long term goals. He provides leadership to the club and ensures the committee roles are fulfilled. He also ensures the club operates in a professional and responsible manner.

Marion Harrison

President

As the club’s President Marion oversees the whole club Marion the most senior official role in a club and fulfils a range of duties dealing with overall management of club affairs.

Faye Lund / Marion Harrison

Treasurer

As the club’s treasurer Marion / Faye manage the clubs income and expenditure, she also produces an end of year financial report, identyfing a suitable individual to review our accounts and. She also reports back to the committee on all financial matters, whilst handling money, cash and cheques that the club receives.

Kevin Manley

Safeguarding and Welfare

Working in partnership with Keith; Kevin ensures the clubs safeguarding procedures and practices are up to date. They are the first point of contact for any issues, concerns or guidance.

Working in partnership with Kevin; Keith ensures the clubs safeguarding procedures and practices are up to date. They are the first point of contact for any issues, concerns or guidance.

Vicky Shaw

Road Running and Reports

As the Road Running secretary, they are responsible for entering Seniors and Juniors in the major road relays. He also organises the numbers for the South Yorkshire Road League. He will advertise details of these events to members and ensure teams take part to represent the club.

Linda Westlake

Cross Country

Linda acts as the point of contact to the South Yorkshire County Athletic Association for the Cross Country League. She advertises and recruits members to take part in various cross country events throughout the year, where they will represent the club on a regional or national level.

Caron Holburt

Membership

As the membership secretary, Caron looks after the clubs affiliations to the governing body, also processes membership applications for new and existing members. She maintains the records of who and who isn’t members of athletic club and works with the treasurer to ensure all monies are paid.
