President and General Secretary

As General Secretary, Dave plans club meetings with the chairperson. He also takes minutes within the meetings and will circulate these amongst members of the club. He ensures insurance and policies are up to date, maintaining records and documents.

Malcolm Fletcher

Chairman

As the club’s chairman Malcolm, chairs all the committee meetings and steers Barnsley Athletic Clubs vision, short term and long term goals. He provides leadership to the club and ensures the committee roles are fulfilled. He also ensures the club operates in a professional and responsible manner.

Marion Harrison

Treasurer

As the club’s treasurer Marion manages the clubs income and expenditure, she also produces an end of year financial report, identyfing a suitable individual to review our accounts and. She also reports back to the committee on all financial matters, whilst handling money, cash and cheques that the club receives.

Caron Holburt

Membership

As the membership secretary, Caron looks after the clubs affiliations to the governing body, also processes membership applications for new and existing members. She maintains the records of who and who isn’t members of athletic club and works with the treasurer to ensure all monies are paid.

Kevin Manley

Safeguarding and Welfare

Working in partnership with Keith; Kevin ensures the clubs safeguarding procedures and practices are up to date. They are the first point of contact for any issues, concerns or guidance.

Keith Littlewood

Stuart Wilson

Road Running

As the Road Running secretary, Stuart is responsible for entering Seniors and Juniors in the major road relays. He also organises the numbers for the South Yorkshire Road League. He will advertise details of these events to members and ensure teams take part to represent the club.

Linda Westlake

Cross Country

Linda acts as the point of contact to the South Yorkshire County Athletic Association for the Cross Country League. She advertises and recruits members to take part in various cross country events throughout the year, where they will represent the club on a regional or national level.

Debbie Evans

Track and Field

Debbie supports the Track and Field aspect for the club. Working mainly with the juniors section and supporting the coaches in their delivery. She also ensures the club enters competitions up and down the country.

In managing the club website and clubs social media platforms, Gareth makes sure the website is kept up to date with the latest news and events. He also ensures the club as a outward facing view on social media, presenting the club online in a positive manner and keeping people up to date.
