Last night was the return of the South Yorkshire Road League with the first fixture of four being held on the notoriously hilly course at Lodge Moor! Promising around 600ft of ascent in the 5 mile road race.

We had runners from Barnsley AC taking part with 27 numbers being allocated for the series to the Athletic Club.

We had 13 finishers out of the 285 they are as follows.
