The return of the Percy Pud for 2021, after being organised as a virtual run in 2020. It was good to be back with Steel City Striders organising the event and Rich Dunk completing his 20th stint as race director.
2,869 people took on the route from Loxley to Low Bradfield, with 19 runners representing the club vest of Barnsley AC.
Barnsley AC members recorded some great results at Sheffield’s Percy Pud 10kms.
Scott Hinchcliffe was first member home in 9th position, whilst Naomi Drakeford was first lady member home in 11th position.
In the Veterans sections best positions were:
2nd Over 55 – Mark Havenhand
2nd Over 60 -Dave Brooksbank
2nd Lady Over 40 -Vicky Shaw
3rd Lady Over 55 -Gail Colville
Personal bests were achieved by Lee Pickering, Lydia Race, Vicky Shaw, Jason Colville and Gemma Thickett
